Investigating the Health of a Rice Field Ecosystem Using Thermodynamic Extremal Principles

This study investigates the dynamic behaviour of a rice field ecosystem and aims to define its integral features using stability concept an ecological goal function. function is based on extremal principles thermodynamics, which assume that certain energetic processes ecosystems—such as rate exergy destruction—are directed by self-organizing informatics systems towards maxima or minima. In our study, we exploit availability substantially long time-series data relating gain evocative understanding growth trajectory in light thermodynamic principles. We accomplished this constructing model STELLA 9.0 software calculating values rates (storage) those destruction entropy creation. The results showed both maximum dissipation progressed apace with storage till maturation became stable thereafter, whereas residence time specific initially decreased before their asymptotic rise. A similar pattern was also observed for exergy. However, power curve followed highly fluctuated course becoming rice.
